He won a George F. Peabody Medal for his landmark four-network radio broadcast on the Bill of Rights, We Hold These Truths, heard by over sixty million listeners and still another Peabody for his work at United Nations Radio. Norman Corwin died at the age of 101 on October 18, 2011, shortly after completing new material for this book.
