We are pious about the right to dissent except where it crosses church or state, offends company management, is critical of the Pentagon, the presidency, the two-party system, congressional committees, self-constituted guardians of morals and patriotism, cultural icons, Christmas carols, and unconventional modes of speech, dress or manner.
